Louis fulfilled one of his many dreams when he assembled his first beehive. He began his beekeeping with two hives in 2015. Although he lost one of his hives in the winter, he harvested 132 pounds from the surviving "monster hive". His passion has increased his knowledge and love for his bees. He is currently President-Elect in the Central Illinois Beekeepers Association and will continue to increase his hives.
